We are seeking vigilant and professional Special Event Security Officers to join our team for our upcoming events. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing crowd flow, and ensuring all attendees adhere to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Access Control: Monitor and control all entrance and exit points to authorize the entry of staff, performers, and visitors while preventing unauthorized access.
Crowd Management: Assist in maintaining order in high-traffic areas and managing crowd movements to prevent incidents.
Patrols & Surveillance: Conduct regular foot patrols of the venue and monitor any security equipment or surveillance systems as required.
Incident Response: Act as the first line of response for emergencies (medical, fire, or security breaches) and provide accurate incident reports to supervisors.
Customer Service: Provide friendly and helpful assistance to visitors, offering guidance on venue layout and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Certification: A valid PSIRA Certificate
- Education: Grade 10 or Higher
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in event or corporate security is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to remain calm under high pressure.
- Physical Fitness: Must be capable of standing and walking for long durations during the event.
